No work... no school... and on a personal memo: no mirror obsessing. This was to be Dan's day of relaxation. While it was quite cold for an autumn day, he wasn't caring. It was clear skies and no too busy or lonely on the streets. Every once in a while, he'd seen some groups of people gathering around a duel between rookies and up-and-coming stars, but he wasn't sticking around for them. He was busy looking through shops. He bought himself a new hat, a fedora that was gray in color. He was wearing his usual long tan coat over a green shirt and tan pants. A camouflage scarf hung loosely across his neck, and a pair shades sat upon his face, covering his eyes.
His duel with Seto Kaiba exposed him as a world-class duelist and now he was just getting paranoid over some recognizing him as such. There was probably no basis for it, as no one here probably followed the US dueling circuit, but still...

Tsukiko had silently walked next to her father who decided to look around the shops of Domino Square . Her head was down as her father explained what had happened at work yesterday and how he was able to get a break that day. Of course he was intrigued as to why she was learned about Egyptian hieroglyphs and she replied that a 'friend' needed her help. Tsukiko then looked up, remember hearing about how Dan had defeated Seto Kaiba, the second most powerful duelist. And just like anything her father just shrugged it off not knowing anything of the world that Tsukiko was about to be, or more like already, thrown into.
Her father then went into a shop, before going in she told her she could wander around. And so there she was, walking alone. Like normal. She thought, looking around at the shops and duels that were going on around her. Tsukiko looked up to see a man who seemed quite suspicious almost as if someone was after him. She tilled her head to the side, seeing if she could recognize him. "Excuse me? Sir?" She speed her walking up to Dan. "Do we know each other?" Tsukiko looked up at him, something almost seemed as if she did, but she hated to take a guess.

"Do we know each other?"
Dan heard a familiar voice and all he could do was smile. He lifted his hat a bit, letting his shaggy hair fall down, and tilted down his shades.
"I guess you could say we know each other, Tsukiko." He chuckled a little and fixed his disguise. "I'm just a little nervous and don't want to get rushed by people. I may be the U.S. regional champ, but I hate large crowds. They kind of scare me."
He had instantly regretted beating Kaiba when the guys at work saw the CEO skulk out of the building more angrily than normal. They'd put 2 and 2 together and also did a bit of research, and found out Dan's dueling history. Rumors spread fast and he was in the middle of the storm.
"So what are you doing out and about by yourself?" He asked, trying to change the subject he started.

Tsukiko blinked a few times and smiled out of shock. Of course She chuckled to herself. "Well I guess we're both on the same boat but different cruise." Tsukiko noted his disliking to his large crowds. She pressed her hands together in front of her as she looked away. "My papa is actually shop talking with some of his friends." Tsukiko sighed, "But he let me go out by myself." She looked back and smiled up at him, a rare occurrence for her.
Tsukiko was happy that the leash was released, she would've rather stayed home with mom than walk around with her father. With father it was always about her future but with her mother it was about the present and their past.
"What are you doing out? Do you have any business yourself?" Tsukiko's head titled, her bangs moved to the side, revealing her eyes were looking up at him.

"I've a day off from work and school, so I decided to enjoy the day and meander around. No mirror... no homework... just a pallet-cleanser of a day. I don't want to drive myself crazy figuring out that code." Dan tapped his temple with his fist a couple of times a chuckled again.
He looked around the store, but no one seemed to notice them. "Let's go do something fun. Other than the mirror work, we haven't hung out as friends. You know of any good places?" Thanks the awesome rates on his apartment, he had a bit of money to spend on things so not much could prevent them from some adventures today.

Tsukiko nodded slowly, finding it neat that he too had time off just like her father. She then softly chuckled as he hit is noggin. "That would be a bad thing." Thinking of all of the studying she has to do herself, not for only for high school but also entrance exams for colleges and universities.
"Let's go do something fun. Other than the mirror work, we haven't hung out as friends." Her eyes flickered down. Something... Fun... Tsukiko thought to herself. "Well there is a shop that sells some interesting or else there is Kaiba Land." She chuckled. Tsukiko then frowned slight, it was weird to be around another person, there weren't a lot of people for her to hang out. It feels nice. She thought to herself.

"Hmm, I haven't been to Kaiba Land. Let's go there!" He stretched out his hand for Tsukiko to come with him. He was sure that her dad wouldn't mind. Besides, he'd be paying. It was only fair.
Soon they'd be out and walking to Kaiba Land. A cool breeze blew through the air and made Dan's scarf dance behind him. The duel from before was clearing up thought the winner couldn't be determined at a glance.
"So.. er, what's school like in Domino? With all these tournaments and stuff, is it hard to get things done?"

Tsukiko smiled and nodded, walking quickly to catch up with Dan. She looked behind her wondering about her father. It was a nice day to go to that amusement park, the light breeze went by and she watched Dan's scarf pick up wanting to go along with the wind.
"So.. er, what's school like in Domino? With all these tournaments and stuff, is it hard to get things done?" Tsukiko looked down in thought.
"Well, we get what we can get done. It had become a lot more chaotic ever since we've had Yugi win something so... Rigorous." She said, describing with her hand movements. "Other than that, I believe Domino High is like any other high school. You've got your jocks, nerds, preps, bullies..." She looked down, "A lot of those." She mumbled, "The cliche." Tsukiko nodded once.
"But I'm pretty sure you would've known that." She said with a slight laugh.[/bockquote]

"Yeah, cliches seem to be the trademark of high school no matter where you are..." He remembered his four years for trying to find one that fit him, but that failed pretty fast. "I was one of those bookish types that didn't fit with any crowd well. I still am, really." He sighed a bit, his breath visibly trailing behind him as they walked.
Kaiba Land was a lot bigger than he thought, as were the rides. The cost, though was cheaper than he thought. He bought the tickets and still had enough for some food later. Dan walked to the center of the first ride plaza and could only stare at the rides. He'd not been in an amusement park in a long time and was taking in the scenery some.

Tsukiko chuckled as he agreed with her. She then nodded slowly, "Pretty much like me." Tsukiko pressed her lips together in thought. She then looked up at the amusement park, Tsukiko had always passed by this place but had never been inside the park itself. To her it looked big enough to get lost in. Tsukiko sighed and stuck close to Dan as he paid for their entrance.
"I wonder what we can do first." She said aloud as she looked at all of the rides and people that were walking around the park. "There's so much." Tsukiko looked up at Dan.

"Let's see... there's a Blue-eyes White Dragon Roller Coaster... what looks to be Spinning Kuriboh ride... a haunted house... is- is that the Toon World castle!? Dan pointed to each of the attractions as he listed them, though his finger drooped as he stared at the Toon World castle with puzzlement.
He would enjoy any of the rides, and they had just about all day to ride them all. "How about we start with the Spinning Kuribohs? Hm?" He suggested.

Tsukiko looked around at the rides that Dan had pointed at. It was such a fascination to Tsukiko as to how big people's imaginations were. She saw that Dan had brought his hand down after pointed to the castle, Tsukiko looked over at it wondering what amazement would hold there, especially if Dan stopped. Is his Id acting up? She blinked a few times in thoughts and in amusement.
"How about we start with the Spinning Kuribohs? Hm?" Tsukiko smiled and nodded. "Yes, lets start there..." She said, feeling excitement. "To tell the truth, I really haven't been to an amusement park. Or none that I can remember." Tsukiko chuckled nervously, rubbing that back of her head.

"Well, its been quite a while since I've gone to one. It'll be like a new experience for both of us!" He walked next to Tsukiko as they got into the queue line for the ride. The smell of hot theme park foods filled the crisp air. Lilting music joined the scent as another breeze breathed through the skies.
The line was moving pretty fast. In no time, they were up by the front. All the brown little furballs, had silly dizzy-spirals over their eyes with limbs held outwards like they were trying to spin in circles. Every Kuriboh as just a little color variation to it. From the looks of it, they were like the spinning teacups ride at some amusement parks back in the U.S.
"What color do you want to ride in?"
Dan was glad he'd not eaten before hand. These kinds of rides would usually make him nauseous.

Tsukiko looked over at Dan and smiled small noting it was both their first times. She then took in a deep breath finally noting how the air was around them, filled with excitement, happiness, and fried food. Within a short time, she was shocked to find they were finally in the front. She then looked over at Dan as he asked which one they should ride. Her dark eyes scanned the area as she looked at people who were looking around excitedly.
"Hm..." She tapped her chin for a moment, then noticing the light blue shaded kuriboh. "How about that one." Tsukiko pointed out looking up at Dan with excitement.

Daniel grinned and started towards the Kuriboh Tsukiko picked out, "Alright then, lets go!" This was going to be a fun day for sure. As they would sit down inside the stomach area of the monster, the lilting music of the ride got a bit louder and the mechanical bits started to moved the main platform. Soon, all the Kuribohs started to spin. Faster and faster they went and Daniel was getting a bit dizzy.
At one point, he started to slide into Tsukiko because of the centrifugal force and the lack of seat belts of course it seemed slightly embarrassing for Daniel. He'd accidentally invaded her personal space and he had his own thing about getting too close to people. But the Kuriboh just got faster and faster.
