The jingling of the bell on the front door would be the first clue as to Dan and Tsukiko entering. Dan's head swiveled from side to side as he looked at the shop's stock. Quite a few cards and other games adorned the shelves of the business. If this was any other time, Dan might have been browsing through for some new cards to consider adding to his decks, but no now. Not at this time. Something a bit more dire was happening that he needed the help with from the shop's owner.
"Hello?"

Tsukiko had silently walked behind Dan, skimming through the book he gave her. Finally, she heard the bell of the door, her head went up to see the inside slowly she entered, mumbling a thanks to Dan for keeping the door open for her. She slowly made her way around the shop, looking at the different games that were sat up. Of course it was a few years ago that Tsukiko had last came in her with her father. It seems different. She thought in wonder.
It was pretty silents, Tsukiko guessed that one wouldn't be famous after a year of being the "King of Card Games". Once more she looked into the book, absorbing everything that she could.

((Sorry about the late reply dears, I was a little busy.))
The ding of a bell signaled a customer, and this time Yugi was home... again. This time he was sweeping upstairs. He heard voices call out in inquiring tones, and he checked his watch. 5:30. Well, Grandpa should've been home... but that was fine. He could handle things. The seventeen year old put the broom down in the corner of the hallway that he stood in, and then he proceeded to the staircase, where he went down the stairs towards the first floor of the shop.
The short boy was partially hidden by the staircase as he descended it, but it could be seen that he was still wearing his Domino High uniform. The familiar spikes of hair came into view next, which was lead by a cherubic face looking down at the two customers. He blinked with his violet eyes and smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry! I was just doing some cleaning... it's a slow day!" He commented cheerfully as he came down the rest of the staircase. "How can I help you two?"

"Ah, yes. I was hoping to find either Solomon or Yugi Mutou. I'm from the Domino Museum. My name is Dan Carlisle." He smiled back at the boy. Was this Yugi? Or did he have some sort of younger sibling? Then again TV tends to make people seem bigger than they actually are.
He reached into his satchel and pulled out two notebooks of different sizes. One pocket-sized and the other full-sized. He placed them on the counter and opened the larger notebook to a page covered in hieroglyphics and a well-drawn sketch of a mirror. "I think I need some help with this. A mirror recently uncovered in Egypt and currently on display at the museum. I've actually been tasked with translating the glyphs bordering the mirror, but there are some complications that would require external sources of expertise. People who won't think I'm completely off my rocker."

'Yugi, let me see that.' A voice echoed deep inside his brain, but Yugi only thought a calming, soothing thought to the spirit. He was trying to tell the spirit that he would, with time, but he needed to be patient. Yugi thought about what Dan said as slowly as he could without seeming awkward.
"Um..." He had a puzzled look on his small face, and he was puzzled. Why would this person look for him? Did Ishizu perhaps get one of her contacts to recommend him? No... that couldn't be right. Ishizu was back in Egypt as far as he knew. But who else from the museum would know that Yugi had some experience with Ancient Egypt? Why wouldn't this boy be looking for Grandpa?
Well, maybe he was looking for him so that he could look for Grandpa. But why would he take out the heiroglyphics in his notebook for him to see right away? His eyes flickered towards the girl... the girl who seemed to be quiet this entire time. Did she know perhaps what was going on?
"Well... I can't say that I'm good with these sort of things yet-" Lie. "-but I have studied a little." Pseudo-Lie. "I can see if I can read it, at least until Grandpa gets home." The boy came down the staircase, showing that he was only a tiny bit taller then Dan had thought. Still, Dan towered over the young man, and Yugi was fine with that.
Yugi felt a prickling at the back of his neck, the notification that he usually had that Yami was looking over his shoulder and he picked up the notebook, beginning to read it. He frowned a little, not really being able to decipher it without his textbook, and internally he prodded Yami to step up and tell him what it said.
((So what am I reading here? lol.))

Tsukiko looked up to hear a voice asking if they could help them. Her face still in the book, she swiftly walked next to Dan to keep to herself, making sure this was Dan's meeting and not hers. Her eyes flickered up to see that is was Yugi that was going to help them with this puzzle. I hope all of this can be figured out... She thought as she watched the notebook get passed around.
Her mind whirled with what the signs could mean, Tsukiko needed a little more time with what it said. Probably a little more teaching as well. After today's adventure, she would defenitly go home and figure out more.

As Yugi studied his notes, Dan remarked on his earlier attempts of deciphering the mirror. "I'm not sure what exactly to make of it. Its normal hieroglyphs, but its coded or something. The only thing I was able to make out sounded both ominous and... and a bit silly. It was the phrase: 'Four Dark Duelists Come Forth.' It concerns me a bit." He pointed to the top of the sketch of the mirror, indicating where he'd translated already.
"Really the glyphs themselves don't worry me too much, its what else was on... and in the mirror." Dan looked down and moved his feet a bit. He looked back up and flipped open the smaller notebook to the page he'd drawn on earlier that day. A well copied sketch was one of a fiend. It was something that did look like it belonged on a Duel Monsters card.
"After we received quite a fright from the artifact earlier today, I discovered that this etching had appeared. It wasn't there before the 'haunting.'" Dan hated using that expression, but there really was no other way to describe it.
"I'm sorry, where are my manners today? This is Tsukiko Mundari. She agreed to help me as well on this endeavor." Dan couldn't believe he'd forgotten to introduce her. She was assisting him now, the least he could do was mention her to others helping.

Yugi felt that prickle at the back of his neck turn to a bit of alarm and it was he who tried to soothe his other side once again. 'Does it make any memories crop up?' he asked, partly out of concern and the other part out of gathering information.
'No... but he's right about what it says. He said that this was at the museum?' Yami asked.
Yes, and something about a haunting.' Yugi said back to him through his mind, as he took the smaller notebook and looked at the drawing, a further frown coming over his face. He gave a wave and a nod to Tsukiko, but that was about the length of his acknowledgement of the poor girl.
"Yes... I can read that..." He frowned again. He was concerned that he hadn't heard about this haunting. He had taken to keeping abreast of the news, but apparently this had escaped him. He needed more information, and needed time to process this.
"This hauntnig... you witnessed it?" Yugi asked. He seemed to be entirely different from the demeanor he had put on as a shopkeeper... it was almost impossible to disguise in his voice that he'd had experience with this sort of thing... but that would be silly, wouldn't it?

Tsukiko smiled, feeling the blood rush up to her face as Dan introduced herself. She looked up and saw that Yugi had waved, which was good enough for her. That was until she had gotten a weird and upsetting feeling in her stomach, it was the same feeling always, a feeling of why she couldn't get out of her own shell.
I hope something can be brought out. She thought to herself as her eyes skimmed over the book, distracting herself. Tsukiko's eyes stopped on a word, sensing that something was different about the shop keeper, but she couldn't put a finger on it. Just my imagination... Tsukiko slightly shook her head.

"I've seen it twice, actually." Dan stated. Both times started to replay, almost simultaneously and shuddered. He didn't even notice the switch in the young boy's demeanor. "But apparently Tsukiko and I the only one who has seen it." There was a long pause as Dan thought about something he'd read on the internet before. And figured it was relevant to this, but... it was only stories, right?
"There are... rumors... of things that happened during Battle City. About mind control... and soul stealing." Dan shuffled a bit uncomfortably and started rubbing his palms against each other in a nervous fashion. "Is... is that true? Do you think that it might happened. It would explain what happened the missing shipping workers." Now it struck him that the hauntings could have been the poor souls of the men crying out to him, the guy who spent the most time with the mirror, for help.
He was really working himself up now. To keep himself from falling over, he placed a hand on the counter.

((Sorry about the delay in posting... you know how Christmas season is.))
Yugi let his face turn stony. Soul stealing... mind control... didn't he know everything about that. It was hard to speak of that time in a good light; especially when after Marik was knocked to his senses, he became a dear friend. What did he say, but still remain truthful at the same time?
"I know of the story." He said. It was true. He knew of the story. He just didn't imply how much he knew. He clasped his hands on the desk and frowned. Although he didn't believe himself what he was about to say, he said it anyway. "So you believe that the missing shipping workers could be involved... why?"

"Well for one, the security camera didn't have footage of them leaving. And the footage in the exhibit was... interrupted by something. At one point they were there, then static, then they were gone and their stuff was just lying on the ground." He said in a low and soft tone. This was all he really knew about the disappearances. The police investigations were turning up nothing and had no leads to go on.
"I really would like to know if you or your grandfather could help me, Yugi. There is something about that mirror. It has something to it that I don't think even you or I understand yet."
