After visiting Yugi's shop,Kaiba felt like visiting the museum today. He couldn't help it,something drew him there. Within a few minutes Kemo had parked the limo. "Sir I'm going to go to lunch now..." said Kemo. "Whatever." says Kaiba in his usual manner as he entered the museum.
Kaiba would gaze at each object, appearing bored at every painting and bone, until his eyes came across a strange mirror. A glyph appeared missing, but something drew Kaiba to the mirror. As he gazed at it, he would feel faint and dizzy. Dropping to his knees Kaiba would shake his head as he had a flashback similar to the one he had had with Marik during Battle City against Ishizu.
"So you want to step in the way of me getting to the throne do you?" Priest Seto yells to four shadowed figures. "I'm the only one fit to rule, you aren't worthy. Now I banish you to the shadows!" Several Egyptian priests covered in hoods began to chant in an unknown language as the mirror glowed with a violet light, engulfging the mysterious four figures and absorbing them into it.
Shaking and sweating,Kaiba would rise up and look at the mirror. "What is this thing?"

Dan was almost done for the day and was anxious on getting back to studying that mirror that plagued his mind so much. It was almost with an earnest glee. As he passed by, he noticed a man with his back to him in an extravagant white coat collapse in front of the mirror. His plans dropped to the floor with the notebook he had gripped in his hand as he ran to aid the man.
"Sir, are you alright? Sir? Si-" He stopped mid-word as he reached a point and saw the man's face. He was Seto Kaiba! The man who owned Kaiba Corp. and manufactured the Duel Disks now commonplace among duelists.
When he asked what the artifact in front of him was, Dan answered in a factual tone. "This mirror was recently uncovered in an ancient Egyptian tomb, or at least the ruins of one. It is unknown who exactly used the mirror yet, but it seems more for ceremonial purposes than common one. Seto Kaiba, sir."

Kaiba would continue to look at the mirror as Dan told him about it. "Great. More hocus pocus mind trick mumbo jumbo."says Kaiba in his usual disbelieving tone when it came to everything regarding Ancient Egypt. "Just what kind of ceremony would a mirror be used for anyway?
Kaiba would turn toward Dan now, pointing toward the broken glyph. It looks like your archaeologists got careless when they dug this up."he says with a smirk. Next time hire a Kaiba Corp team."

"I'm not sure what kind yet. The glyphs are coded making translation a tad bit more difficult for me. The only bit that was easily translated was 'Four Dark Duelists Come Forth.' So if I had to guess, I'd say some sort of banishing ritual." When Kaiba pointed out the the place where a glyph appeared to be missing. Partial bits still remained, but no enough to make out what it meant. Dan went wide-eyed and got as close to the glass as possible. He hadn't noticed that gap before and it wasn't in the pictures of the mirror from the excavation.
"It... it couldn't the archeologists. I think it might have been the shipping handlers. They went missing the same night the mirror was delivered. Its been all over the news." He turned back to the CEO with a concerned look on his face, "Do you really believe this is 'hocus pocus mumbo jumbo?' If my assumptions are right, there could be a big problem. Especially with your tournament coming up soon."

Kaiba would turn his back to Dan,waving his hand dismissively. "Yeah, yeah. I know all about the missing truck drivers."he says in a bored tone. "However freaks and nut jobs kidnap people on a daily basis throughout the world...none of this 'almighty' magic mumbo jumbo."
Kaiba started heading for the door then, pausing only to turn his head to catch a glimpse of Dan once again. "As for my tournament,I'll have increased security there. I'm not stupid enough not to after a few losers trying to sabotage my past few tournaments. If you're a duelist feel free to enter. The look on your face when you discover your hocus pocus mind tricks are nothing more than a nut job on a kidnapping spree will be priceless."

Dan actually started to follow the rich man. "I am a duelist. I'm actually a regional champion in the US. From his satchel, he pulled a unique duel disk. Custom-made to look like an ancient tomb. He'd stop in the middle of the area leading out of the exhibit.
"And I'm pretty damn good at it. He smirked a bit himself. Something a bit different from the timid bookish sounding museum worker who Kaiba has just spoken to a few seconds ago. "Though I think you'll find that out in your tournament. Most likely in the final rounds."

The words US Regional Champ made Kaiba stop dead in his tracks. He had only met a handful of duelists from America...the most popular being Bandit Keith, but this man definitely was not him. "I've heard someone finally took up that rusted pile of scrap Bandit Keith's throne. He's lost to Joey Wheeler and Yugi both...he's a bigger loser than Wheeler. Granted Wheeler would make a good junkyard dog for him."says Kaiba with a smirk.
"So that must make you the newly famous Dan Carlisle."Kaiba continued with the arrogant smirk still on his face. "You may be good, but remember to get through the finals you have to go through myself and the King of Games himself Yugi Mutou. Have fun with that."

Dan smiled as not a single one of those insults were thrown at him. At least the man didn't not like him. Then again, he hadn't dueled most of the duel monsters celebrities he mentioned.
" Bandit Keith really didn't like losing, but I quite enjoyed winning. It was a fair warm-up for this, I think. Things should be... interesting.
There's an expression... 'Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.' I looked at recordings off both your's and Yugi's duels and I have strategies set aside for both of you. Bring only your A-game. Because that is what I'm bringing."
As he put away his Duel Disk, waved goodbye and reentered the museum. The mirror was waiting for new analysis.

Kaiba would pull out his own deck and gaze at his prized cards. The only three in existence. Yep,you guessed it. The legendary and powerful Blue Eyes White Dragon cards. "If it's A-Game you want,my Blue Eyes will be more than happy to ensure your defeat."he says with a smirk. Kaiba at least respected duelists who showed considerable skill. Besides Dan hadn't done anything to get on his bad side...yet.
"Now you know as well as I do that videos of duels can only teach you so much Dan. Duelists constantly change their strategies, and Yugi and I are no exception to that." says the second most powerful duelist in the world before he spots Kemo pulling up,chewing on a burger. "I'll see you at the tournament then."is all Kaiba says before stepping back into his limo, the last thing being heard was Kaiba chewing out Kemo for eating in the drivers seat of the limo.
